Our 'Sagra'

Definition: Sagra denotes a local fair, usually a celebration of the bounties of the earth--

Larger sagre (the plural of sagra) may feature musical bands and perhaps a competition of some sort, like a bike race.

Attending a sagra is a way to get a taste of Italian country life. You order food to be cooked by locals with a passion for the local cuisine, then sit at communal tables to eat.

You'll probably need a car to attend a sagra, as most of them are held in small towns, usually in the main piazza.

Little did we know our 'Sagra' would be right across the street from us, with views from our bedroom balcony. We watched flag throwers, locals dressed in authentic attire, including our neighbor whom Grace was given a personal tour with. We were favored with loud, booming cannons morning and night, flag throwers, chamber music, archery, art, and re-enactments of life in the past. It was a fabulous treat for us to experience!

Your kids look so big and much older. I can't wait to see you all. Fun times at the water park. Does it compare to Seven Peaks?
the water-park doesn't have rides, just the big slides...it has the large pools, the fun kid pool with the spraying jets, a lap pool, and other large pool areas...
