Dr. Visit, Italian Style

Had my first dr.'s appointment yesterday. Ben had to be with me to translate, (my spoken Italianis not good), and the dottoressa did not speak English. We were able to see the baby (wow, after a 7-year haiatus, this was an amazing sight), progress is fine, and our little bambino(a) is growing well! We were pleased after the visit. Best thing about the visit, there was no waiting, I went right in and met with the dott.essa immediately, that was nice.

lucky you! my sister loved having her kids help out with her new baby - they are 8 & 9 years old. You will have some helping hands!

Ben has a stress-fracture on his ankle, and because it's so painful, he's been unable to run on it. Now he's just prepping for a few road-bike races coming up.

peg..didn't ben run some race in WA when he had a stress fracture? What's stopping him now? :)

actually, Ben did run after he fractured his same ankle during the race...I think the fact that it was during the race, and that he was on a team, that kept him from stopping..
