Check This Guy Out!
This is Ben running Oct. 2006, the Venice Marathon. We arrived in Italy, and settled into a house by mid-September 2006. Ben decided at this point to sign up for the marathon. He ran it with limited training, and his longest run, 12 miles, and he still managed a sub-4 hr. time. (he never ceases to amaze me)This last Thursday, Ben was in a terrible road-biking accident. Hit his head hard, messed up his hips and has had to take it easy for awhile (hmmm, 3 days). This morning, he went out for a run. This is Ben for you, always determined, and a high tolerance for pain. On top of that, he's soooo GOOD LOOKIN'!!

My wife and I are making plans to run the Lisbon, Portugal Marathon in December. I have been wanting to tell someone so it is not just something I want to do but never do it. I served my mission in Portugal. I am sure you guys are fascinated.
Peggy, did Ben ever tell you the camping at Grafton near Rockville story?
I am glad Ben is feeling better, my mom and dad told us the story on Friday... yikes... he worries us sometimes...
